The ambience was beautiful, in fact I'd say the cover photo on here doesn't do it justice. The service was excellent , genuine recommendations on sides to help us not over order for a start! Polite, professional and warm. The food was enjoyed by everyone, mostly meat eaters plus me, one vegan. As food is marked as vegetarian and/or containing dairy, I was able to pick items veggie and no dairy and then check if they were vegan which they were based on this, there's a reasonable amount of choice. Good: Friendly staff generally. Good quality ingredients. Very clean toilets. Responsive management. Could be better: Staff could be more proactively attentive. Lack of continuity in service (customers who came in after us had their orders taken before us, and seemed to be given a different level of service). Chairs could do with a professional clean. Service charge shouldn't be automatically added to the bill. For the price paid I think the above comments are fair. The manager along with the staff looked after us always checking if we are okay etc. Food was delicious, atmosphere was lovely I appreciate a restaurant without loud music on the background where you can have a conversation. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Make sure you try lamb chops. Dietary restrictions: The menu had a big variety even for allergen affected guests.
