The food at this restaurant was incredibly tasty, and we were very hungry so I only managed to take a picture of my delicious cider. I highly recommend starting with the baked chickpea and feta dip, and any pizza on the menu, as the crust is fantastic and pairs well with all your favorite toppings. I would definitely return when I am in the area again. The only drawback was that when we arrived, there was a large group which made it difficult to have a conversation while dining. It would be wonderful to sit outside on a beautiful evening as the sun sets.
The Italian food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious and authentic! I noticed they had Neapolitan pizza certification, which was impressive. We tried the olive oil sampler, a prosciutto pizza with added arugula, and a spicy pizza (although I can't remember the specific name). The indoor dining area is small, but the outdoor seating looks lovely. I will definitely be coming back here regularly. And to top it off, their espresso dessert was simply delicious!
The pizza was fine, I ordered the Roman hoping for a Roman style pizza, but got a neopolitan with anchovies, olives, and capers (which I enjoy bit that could easily be a deal breaker for some) as the online menu didn't specify the contents. The pizza itself was tasty, but it was pretty soggy. If you specifically like neopolitan then I recommend this place, it's a very nice addition to the neighborhood.
I returned to DC for a wedding after almost ten years since graduating, and I was pleasantly surprised by the welcoming host at Menomale. Seeking shelter from a storm, I discovered a hidden gem with fantastic pizza and Italian dishes, top-notch service, and a beautiful atmosphere. This restaurant is a must-visit destination.

This restaurant is one of the best pizza spots in DC, hands down. The staff is welcoming, the food is amazing, and the atmosphere is great. It's quiet enough for a cozy dinner inside but lively on the patio if you're in a group. The pizzas are all delicious, and don't forget to try the cannoli for dessert!
Brought my whole family here, two daughters, 2 son-in-laws, 3 grand kids. Very close to the taste of pizzas in Naples, Italy. Fast service and excellent taste. Antipasto tray good to. The serve Menabrea beer from Italy oldest brewery in Northern Italy. Looks to be dog friendly as well.
Great place for pizza in Washington DC !For a family of six the bill came to 90 dollars! We ordered a Caprese salad and a Formaggi Della casa plus three pizzas! Food is excellent and we enjoyed the dinner! Tip: they closed at nine pm and hence do go early to enjoy your meal at leisure
Very impressed! The crust is outstanding. Both the traditional and the mushroom and sausage were very good. The service was outstanding. The only miss... The bruschetta was under seasoned with salt and balsamic glaze. Other than that, it's a five star.

Best pizza in DC I’ve ever had after living here for 7 years. Very busy, but didn’t mind waiting. Service is excellent. My husband and I got burrata salad w/ prosciutto and the Brookland veggie.
