The food was amazing! To start, we had the queso poblano and the chicharrones. Both phenomenal. Get the queso with the brisket- so worth the extra $2! As far as entrees go, I had the Salmon Herradura. It was so good. Lots of food too- I couldn't finish! I think my favorite thing about this place is their margarita menu. They have this very creative list of different flavored margs- not just margs with artificial syrup put in, but margaritas with the actual fruits and herbs muddled in. I had one of the best meals since moving to the Dallas area at Meso Maya last night! The place was packed, and the service was a bit slow, but it turned out to be great in the end. The carne asada was amazing, and the black refried beans were absolutely delicious! The manager, Alan, went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable evening. Overall, this place is fantastic! Aurora recommended the new dish, carne asada with a chile relleno stuffed with shrimp, especially since I enjoyed the chile de árbol salsa. However, I couldn't find it on the menu! I would love to try it next time. By the way, what is the name of that new dish?
This is a Mexican restaurant but on a little higher scale than average. It has a nice ambiance and the food was not your average enchiladas! For an appetizer we wanted to try something different and I'm glad we did! We got the Chicharrones. The pork was so flavorful and tender and when you put it into the corn tortillas with the cilantro and pickled onions the flavors pop in your mouth! I had a Kale Verde salad with grilled shrimp and it was good. My daughter had the Del Mar enchiladas and she couldn't finish it all it was such a large portion. Definitely try this place out when you're in Addison. Oh yeah the drinks were good, too.

This is my favorite spot for consistently delicious meals at a great price. Everything I've tried here has been excellent, but today I want to highlight their exceptional service. I ordered the Pollo Budin Azteca through Door Dash for lunch while I'm at home recovering from an illness, and it turned out to be the best meal I've ever had from any of the Meso Maya locations. The portion size was very generous, and I can't wait to enjoy a second helping for dinner. Thank you!
We visited this restaurant for dinner last night, and it was fantastic! We were seated immediately, and the service was excellent. My husband ordered the carne asada entrée, which we ended up sharing since my dish was a bit too spicy for me. I had the chicken enchiladas. The carne asada was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. We'll definitely be coming back for that!
This place was so delicious. If you come try the beet salad and the carne asada. Our server was attentive and got our order perfectly plus drinks for our birthday. A warm environment and seriously delicious food. Thank you Eric!!!
