We have been living in Tarragona for 5 years now and can honestly say that in this restaurant we had the worst fideua marinera ever. Sticky, tasteless, swimming in broth...The supermarket ones are 5 classes above. Long waiting time just to order, even though the place was not at all crowded. They simply ignore you. If they hear you talk in a foreign language you will get different treatment. A small example: the coffee and chupitos after meal are free if you are a local, otherwise, if they sense that you have the slightest accent, they will make you pay for it...When we inquired about that, their answer was a stunning they are not normally free... Liked the restaurant, been there for dinner. Ordered some really delicious seafood paella. Sangria was not particularly impressive though, tasted more like a mixed fruit juice or something. Liked the service. The interior is very simple and basic.
I was surprised. We have ordered many dishes and 99% was very good of flavor, elaborated and price. We repeated and surely on the same site as the one I always think is left something behind.
