I had high expectations of this restaurant which is only open at the weekend and the atmosphere and welcome from the waitress did not disappoint. It is traditional Spanish with artefacts on the walls. It was very busy and the one waitress was constantly on the move taking orders, delivering food and greeting new arrivals. We shared a salad as a starter which was very fresh and more than enough for three My friends shared a chorizo skewer and said it was very good. Meson Los Lobos is a charming farmhouse-style restaurant that makes you feel you've been invited for dinner to the best family cook in the country. Portions are huge (farmhouse-style) but cooked with the delicate care and attention of a slick blue-ribbon city restaurant. If its near you go immediately. If its some distance then make a special trip—its totally worth it!
This special place is only open a few nights a week and can get busy so its best to make a reservation. The meats here are outstanding and the outdoor patio dining is picturesque. The steaks were cooked to perfection and we loved the leg of lamb! Definitely recommend this place over several other “steak places” on the beach.
