We visited this restaurant on a Thursday with 4 people spontaneously. We were sceptical due to the reviews here. But we were surprised. I haven't eaten that good in years. The restaurant is mostly visited by locals and it is recommended to book in advance or arrive early. It is directly next to a gas station but inside it is beautifully decorated and really comfortable. They immediately got us an English speaking waiter when we said we can't speak Soanish. We even got an English menu. But let's talk about the food. Our friends ordered from the menu. We asked the waiter to pick the food for us and this was one of the best decisions ever taken. A pleasant restaurant and service. The food was OK, but not outstanding. The price was a rip off. In particular, we ordered tuna with grilled veg for Mrs G. It was OK but how can anyone justify 24 euros for one simple dish! Everything else was also more expensive than the normal, resulting in a bill of 66:80 euros for a simple meal. We know Spain well, and can readily name 10 good restaurants where a much better lunch can be has for 1/3rd the price.
Totally unexpected. We stopped along the highway for a cup of coffee mid morning and found this amazing place. Would definitely stop here again. Very clean and perfect service.
Loved this traditional Spanish restaurant, good food, good service, need to make an effort with your spanish but I am by no means fluent. Really enjoyed the whole experience.
