Mestizo Restaurante

After I was in Popayan many times, I tried many restaurants. This restaurant is the best I have eaten so far! It is located in Hotel San Martin, but has a friendly feeling as you enter, and it is not part of the hotel. Being on site can be an advantage that both the owner and the hotel come to an agreement so that guests can calculate their meal in their rooms? The place is relatively new and looks very clean. The menu is not big, but more than enough to keep people happy with a variety of options. I was at the hotel and ate twice in this restaurant. The food has great taste with a lot of options to choose from. The food portions are generous. The service of the employees could improve something. For the second time in the restaurant it was not overcrowded and the server was slow and there were two more employees who were just chatting at the desk.

Grata experiencia, se destaca la atención, el lugar es muy acogedor y la comida genial! es sencillamente deliciosa. Mis recomendados son: la trucha al papillote y los cortes de carne sin dejar atrás las cazuelas!

Beautiful place and everything, but it is incredible that a restaurant does not have any veggie or allergy friendly options in their menu in 2018... yes even “parrilla” bbq restaurants

This is the best restaurant in town, they have a great menu and everything is delicious. One of the best burgers in Popayan. My favourite dish is the trout :
