A perfect place to stop off in cool, cloudy autumn weather. The dining room is old, cozy and furnished with a few stylistic aberrations. A rustic ambience that is rarely found in restaurants today. Since the Métairie was packed and fully booked, we only had the option of eating a cold dish or a fondue. We decided on the fondue because the Gruyère cheese is homemade. We really liked the tasty cheese fondue, but unfortunately the white bread that came with it was old, dry and very brittle... What a shame.
A beautiful place from another time. A peace, even romance, that we have completely lost in today's hectic pace. Good food, meat and vegetables from our own cultivation or keeping, in the “Stübli” of the house built in 1735 and friendly service. Only recommended!!
Service made us wait a long time. I then got up and ordered the drinks directly from the restaurant. They weren't that friendly either. Even when we wanted to pay, we waited a long time again. Otherwise drinks were fine.
