We tried four cafes in QVB during our stay in Sydney and this is the best. The cafe was very busy in a weekday morning that we just happened there was one table available. Need to order at counter and the food come fast but placed beautiful. The coffee was great. Need to mention that this is the only one of four cafe at QVB served us water without we asking for.
It is a bar inside the Mall Victoria Building with very rich breakfasts. If you don't want the salad that comes with the sandwiches, you have to clarify it before so they don't charge you. Super friendly staff !! Always open
Ok my sweet tooth took over and I could not resist. The lemon tart was killer. I'll walk it off was the justification for this mid day delight!!! The inside of this building is Magnificant!!!
As long as I can remember Metropole has always been our first stop for coffee in Sydney, good selection of food, strong (not burnt) coffee and efficient service. Great surrounds in the QVB.
