First of all, I absolutely love the Mexico Restaurant chain—it's definitely one of my favorites! I had no idea this location was nearby, and it's incredibly convenient being so close to my office, which is a huge plus. The atmosphere was very nice and tranquil, and I really enjoyed the Spanish music playing throughout the restaurant (they even played some of my favorite classics!). The portions for the price are outrageous. I ordered two types of dips—chorizo and guacamole—and received tiny portions along with just half a bag of chips. Seriously, couldn't they provide a full bag for two dips? I had to go out and buy more chips on my own. The chicken fajitas were $18 and came with lettuce that was practically soaked (the container was flooded!). I’d heard bad things about takeout from this place and now I see that I should have just stayed away.
Mexico restaurant saves the day! We preordered food for 25 for our post funeral gathering from a different restaurant. One hour prior, we called to arrange to pick up the food only to find out there was no order. No food. We called Mexico Restaurant. They happily took on our challenge and provided a fantastic spread with everything we needed at a cost less than the original. We are so grateful for their kind and professional service. Customers for life!
Service was quick. Food arrived in a timely manner. Good sized portions. I had shrimp chimicanger and brought half of it home. Wife had a vegetarian taco salad. …..these were not even close to what a chimichanga should be : I immediately thought I received the wrong order so I called was told it was correct w no explanation? The chimichangas were the size of taquitos from 7eleven or something meat was identical to Taco Bell meat- I feel scammed.
It's just not good. The food presentation isn't good, nor is the quality of ingredients. I'm only giving 3 stars across the board because it was clean.
