Delicious! Chicken breast kabob can be a roll of the dice, but the one at Meze is delightfully juicy and well seasoned. A plastic knife made easy work of the tender chicken breast. Another pitfall to Mediterranean restaurants is disappointing rice. Often undercooked, it ruins the entire experience. But they nailed it. Fluffy, perfectly cooked and perhaps most importantly abundant! Took me way too long to give Meze a go but I will be a regular here. Affordable, delicious and authentic. Easy to dine in tables are spaced out well if you aren't one of the many who are choosing to go with takeout.
The kabobs were disappointingly average—underseasoned, bland, and slightly mealy. It might be due to staff turnover, or perhaps that’s just how they prepare them. Just a short distance across the LA River, there are much better alternatives. The sides and accompaniments were decent, but they overlooked important details, like properly dressing a salad. The most disappointing aspect was that the rice seemed undercooked and possibly a day old.
If you’re in dire need of a Mediterranean meal, then give it a try, but Meze falls short in so many areas, delivering a subpar experience overall.
My order was wrong. Love this place because it's next to my work and I have a 30min crunch lunch. I order ahead of time and ordered take out thru yelp. Today, I ordered chicken kabob with rice, hummus and PASTA SALAD, but got cucumber salad instead. I checked my order online and it said pasta. Also, no garlic spread which I LOVE!! Do we need to check that off or ask?? I would make sure you check your to go before leaving
Just picked up a falafel plate for my girlfriend for her dinner break at work. She has been texting me how delicious it is!! Its not always easy since she is particular about her food and a vegan. This place was a huge hit and can’t wait to go back….guy at the counter was very friendly as well. Not a bad price considering the one plate is good for two meals. Will be back here soon!

I don't like give negative reviews but it was disappointed with the main course rice didn't have any flavor and chicken was under seasoned. But size hummus and salad was delicious the best cucumber yogurt I had to bad the rest didn't have any seasoning.
The chicken and beef are good, but the rice is really disappointing. It has a bad smell and seems old and unappetizing. I recommend checking the rice's aroma before eating here. This place might need to be reported to the FDA.
I visit this restaurant for lunch from time to time, and it never fails to impress. Every dish is made to order, and the kitchen is always impeccably clean.
Owner cussed me out after HE blocked me in their parking lot. Would never give such a rude person business.
