We haven’t been back to Mezza in probably 2 years after a poor experience with a server, but decided to give it another chances because the food had always been creative and good. The Food again was good, when we finally got it but we waited 20 minutes after being seated for our server to come and that was only after we asked if he was our waiter after giving the table next to us their bill. We then waited another 15 min for his return. After ordering we again waited and only got them after having to ask if they forgot our appetizers . We had a party of 11 for dinner on a Friday night. The seating area was off to the side and felt like we were the only people there (we definitely were not). There were a large selection of specials to chose from. We had an assortment of hot and cold appetizers, some recommended from our waiter (Ricky) who was extremely helpful and kind. We didn’t feel rushed and timing of the food coming from the kitchen was great. I highly recommend the duck, the hummus, the kebabs and the chocolate soufflé (order with apps). I would highly recommend Mezza for date nights as well as celebrations. Can’t wait to go back- sooner than later.
We met our family at Mezza in Westwood for dinner at my daughters suggestion. I have to say, the appetizers we ordered were amazing. Our waiter Ricky gave us suggestions for starters and we ordered all the dips. Mezza gave me vegetables to enjoy the hummus and babghanoush because I needed gluten free . The fish was fantastic! Great atmosphere and wonderful food.
Had the lamb shank. It was melt-in-your-mouth FANTASTIC! We were undecided about the appetizers and our waiter (Ricky) gave us great recommendations. The rolled grape leaves was my favorite! Made fresh daily at the restaurant! One more nice detail about this place is that it’s BYOB… which I LOVE!!

The food at Mezza never disappoints. It is exquisite. They had a new menu item-Persian shrimp, which was outstanding! We were seated in the back so the restaurant was quiet and service was very good. The staff were very helpful in describing some dishes. We will keep returning!!
I personally would not return... the food was ho-hum... the food was different than most New Jersey restaurants, but not very good. We had the salmon and the shrimp gnocchi.. which would both get a grade of C. The crab cake appetizer was very good.
The food at this restaurant was excellent. The prices are a bit steep. I prefer the lunch menu over the dinner menu. Unfortunately, we were charged too much and I didn't notice until the following day, which was frustrating.
