Last time I was there it turned into a biker bar. What a shame. The previous owner obviously sold this business. I had no idea this was no longer Mi California. Rather, it was a front for a bad restaurant. I took my wife for the first time that evening and was extremely disappointed at what this place became. The food was cold and did not have any flavor. The noise level was horrible. There was a band scheduled to play that night, and the band hadn't even started playing yet! The vibes were not good. There were people bringing in kids to a bar. Not in good taste. I wouldn't go back here if you paid me to.

Mi California restaurant, Hawthorne, CA on Hawthorne Blvd. I have been coming here for years. I enjoy supporting local businesses and trying new ones throughout the South Bay. Great place to host events also. This is truly one of the best restaurants I've ever been to! Our meals were customized to our tastes, and the staff was exceptionally friendly, making us feel at home. After our first dinner, we couldn't resist coming back for a second visit to really enjoy our vacation. The karaoke was a blast—I even learned a bit of Spanish in just an hour! The drinks were definitely better in the past. I ordered a Long Island Iced Tea, but it tasted excessively sweet and lacked any alcohol flavor. I also sampled the campechana, and the octopus was quite tough. On a brighter note, the staff was excellent and served us with a smile. However, the drinks could use a stronger alcohol content, and the campechana could use some improvement.
The bartender and staff here are incredible! They are consistently friendly and welcoming, always greeting you with smiles. They truly go the extra mile to ensure you have a wonderful experience. I hired this caterer for my event on June 17th, but I reached out to them several times and received no response. I cannot recommend this company. Planning an event is stressful enough, and dealing with an unreliable caterer only increases the anxiety. Service: 1/5.
Looks really good but they need to update their hours. Drove all the way there to find out it was closed an hour and a half before it was supposed to.

The food and service were outstanding! Daniel, our waiter, was friendly and very attentive. I would rate the food a perfect 5 out of 5.
Goggle map says they open till 1:30am but kitchen closes at 11pm we walked out at 11:15 because we were hungry.
