Mi Maria Bonita - Table reservation

Erica was our server. Never pre-bussed any of our dishes until the very end after we asked her to. The most we saw her was when she kept coming to the table to see if we were ready to pay. There were only 4 table’s including us and another server so idk what kept her so busy throughout our time here. The food was horrible. My fiancé had the chicharrones and potatoes and I had the pork costillas. Our rice was hard and beans had a burnt taste. For the costillas I got 3 pieces, mostly fat. We’ve been here before and service was good and so was food so today was very disappointing.

This restaurant has the best shrimp cocktail and coffee. The service is great! However, the last three times we have eaten here, our food has been room temperature. When the cheese is not melted on the beans, you know something is wrong. The cheese in the cheese enchiladas was minimal and the carnitas tacos were dry and room temperature. We have heard our server as well as the manager complain about the kitchen. Cooks can make or break a restaurant. I think it's time for a change- cooks and choice of restaurants for us.

Took my son here last night. The food was great! He didn’t care for the salsa that came with the chips but it was fine to me. The hot sauces they give with the entree were delicious! When they first opened I wasn't a big fan but it has become my go to for local Mexican now. If you haven't been recently I suggest checking it out, it's great! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

There was a closed sign! Did they close down??? Does anyone know...I really hope not...this place was awesome
