Mi Vida has quickly become my favorite restaurant. I've actually visited three times in the past week! The staff is consistently fantastic and incredibly patient with me, which I really appreciate. I can't recall the name of my first waitress, but the last two visits, I had the pleasure of being served by Wendy and Louise, who both made my experience wonderful. The location right by the water offers stunning views, making every meal even more enjoyable. I know I'll be a loyal customer for a long time!
I dined at Mi Vida after a lovely day of sightseeing in DC. We had a late reservation on a Sunday, so our server seemed a bit rushed, but he was well-versed in the menu and offered helpful suggestions. My partner ordered the salmon and absolutely cleared the plate. I opted for the enchiladas rancheras after debating between that and the tacos. I had brunch here with my family. The food, vibe, and views were awesome. I ordered the soup and salmon. The salmon had a nice kick to it. The soup had some spice as well and I love me some spice! My cocktail of choice was the Ponche De Lola and two of these did me just fine! My Step Dad ordered the impossible burger and he loved it. My mom ordered the codfish tacos and they were delicious! For dessert my mom ordered the chocolate cake and we all split that. It was a melt
I've been here twice. Once for happy hour and for dinner. I was more pleased with my happy hour experience than the dinner experience. All in all, I'd say this restaurant is a little overrated. DINNER: The tacos and drinks were good, but the ambiance could be modified. The first thing is, it was extremely dim in the restaurant. I understand trying to set the vibe, but it was dark. The menu was hard to see and I don't like eating in the dark...I need to see my food. Also

Mi Vida was outstanding. The service was excellent, and the food was equally impressive. It’s the first restaurant I’ve encountered that has a hand dryer installed right in the sink of the restroom. The view of the wharf outside was gorgeous. Just a heads up: don’t be surprised by the bill; given the beautiful setting and the quality you receive, a higher price is to be expected.
Prompt Seating, waiter very attentive. Food from, appetizers to dinner, very fresh. Food was tasty, guacamole fresh, chips and salsa also no complaints. Price average+ (pp) for location. Won’t be disappointed in taste, service and wait.
Had an excellent time at lunch. Our waiter was prompt, courteous and knew the protocol for removing flatware and dinnerware. This place has proven itself again to be a nice place to go for a fantastic meal.
