Never again!!. This is a new indian restaurant opened in Blackpool on Whitegate Drive. On the second night of opening my colleagues and I went for a meal after work. Although the decor is very nice the food was definitely not. I shared a starter of Prawn Puri which was supposed to be on a deep fried Indian Puff Ball bread!! The prawn filling was quite tasty but the bread was more like a chapati. For my main course I thought i'd try the Tandori Mixed Grill. The presentation was awful, the meats were piled on the top of some salad and pilau rice. Worst takeaway experience of my life. Good kebabs however the worst customer service I have ever come across. I ordered at 20:00 last night expecting the delivery to take no longer than 45 mins- 1 hour. At 21:30 I decided to call them. They did not give me any assurance my kebab was going to arrive at an exact time but instead told me that it should come any time soon. Now you may think this is fair enough however at 22:30 I decided to call it a night, after calling them every ten minutes ever since that very first call at 21:30 (them obviously not giving me any useful information about the were a bouts of my kebab). I meant to say not up there with the restaurants I mentioned in burnley 28 Apr, 2013 Just been for a meal at Michaels recommended by my fianc s uncle who lives nearby and would have to admit I'm slightly dissatisfied. The staff was friendly but the interior could of done with a makeover very dated. The menu was ok could of done with more starters I decided to go with the mixed kebab which was very good but served on a tiny plate with food falling off! This is the worst Indian I have ever bought. The nan was barely ok and just edible. The korma looked like a pile of radioactive puke and tasted like it came out of the bin! The Bombay potatoes had one potatoe in and was just as inedible also. I am not one to complain normally but after a 12 hr day at work and £20 spent on a easy meal. The rage is high food in the bin. So for £20 I bought a **** cooked spud am tired and hungry still!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Avoid this place at all costs if you like nice food. I would upload pic of food if could. First and last time. We spent £30 on a takeaway last Saturday (4/2/12) The starters were fine but the main courses, a Chicken Tikka Bhuna and Chicken Tikka Vindaloo were inedible and ended up in the bin! Both were very, very sugary (I've never had a sweet vindaloo before) Thinking that a mistake had been made during cooking I phoned and politely informed them of the above. I was abruptly told that there was nothing wrong with the food before having the phone put down on me!
where is a prwn a shrimp? our worst curry is ever. we order 2 starters and 3 different mains. starters were ok, but the main meal was horrific. the beef maras was chop meat, which was sown with garlic. my prawn curry was a slop of sauce with few minutes garnel. I searched and found some cloves that were 1/4 inches in size. the third meal a jalfrezi was also just a sloppy sauce without meat ingredient. a total demolition and guarantees a visit from the trade standards.
I loved michaels at a time. I have always visited michaels restaurant on Whitegate drive, but have just learned today that all restaurant staff either have gone or have been sewn by michaels bruder peter, I thought the staff that guide the restaurant perform excellent jobs from the front of the house to great pleasurable afforders done what will happen, I would love to explain michael but I doubt that he can decide if he decides.45
michaels has definitiw the wow factor, glamorous! always let them smile with a smile, portions are definitely worth the price and with the trips that have recently gone, is a plus. one of my personal favorites for all our special occasions. highly recommended.

Just had food delivered to Cala Gran, boxes were not closed properly so half of the food were all over the bag, what is more nan bread and rice were not fresh, we are very disapointed.
