Michaels Maidstone Bar And Restaurant

The food was outstanding however I am still uneasy about the way we were treated upon arriving with my two year old. The restaurant was empty other than one table (seated with one person). We were sat in the far back corner next to an exit door. It was tight, I mean really tight! My husband asked the waiter if we could be sat somewhere else because we couldn 't even reach down if my son dropped something which he will because he 's two. The waiter quickly responded no because they have reservations and that solo table already complained that a child was sitting near her and asked to move. Food was ok but the service was sub par. Made my Girlfriend wait outside with my grandson while waiting for me to arrive because he couldn’t wait in the “bar area” because of his age. Never offered to have them sit in the dining room which was empty. They need to upgrade their employees and understand that they are there for the customers. 20 minuits just to get service and a piece of bread..... unacceptable!!!!
