This was a great place to have a steak. My test was as usual to have it cooked "english" which very few steak restaurants manage to get right. It was cooked almost to perfection (perfect being impossible to achieve) and the mountain of western potatoes was practically not finish able. There were seven in our party and everyone was pleased with their choice, the specials are very recommendable. My last review of this restaurant is already 2 years old and since I was last time complaining about smoking disturbing and since they no longer have the bar as smoking area I want to take this change to thank them for this improvement! Very nice that a dining restaurant is a non-smoking restaurant :-)Table reservation to this restaurant is a must, sometimes days ahead! And you might get a table just for 1.5h as we did so there is no time to relax; just eat, pay and go. The steaks are made to perfection (but not cheap) and the side dishes are exceptionally delicious for a steak house (need to be ordered and paid separately). Shame their wines are not really matching the quality of the meat....

I read the reviews on this site, which helped me decide to take my cousins for a special treat. The meat was supposed to be imported from Argentina, but not even a street vendor in Buenos Aires would sell such a poor cut of meat. The meat served was mostly gristle, which could not be cut with the dull knife supplied by the restaurant. Also the Chef could not tell the difference between a medium cooked steak, and a rare one, our steaks were served rare, but we ordered medium with a pink center. No manager was working that night, so to make a perfect trifecta, I also had to pay for this poor excuse of a meal.

Why are they doing it? Nice restaurant, good food, reasonable prices. When we ordered the food they asked, would you like your meal with salad? , thought this was an option with the meal we just said to be charged an additional €7 per person on our meal price for a stupid little salad. OK €7 is not a fortune, but it has collected the price of our meal. It is a shame that this place uses this tactics as it is a beautiful place, but one that I unfortunately never use again or recommend using others.

The service was quick, nice and friendly. I didn't like my coke, when I order coke i expect Coca Cola but it was something else, but doesn't matter in the end. It was pretty hit inside on a warm summer day. Good Ambiente and also good prices. I would recommend this steakhouse.

Very good and tasty food, uncomplicated and relaxed dinner place. Portions are German style big. Last time when we were in Kleinwalsertal we turned away as we thought the smoking area is the dining area but the dining room comes after the bar (smoking area).

Excellent food, great taste and atmosphere. Great service. We recommend the American Mix with Choron sauce - our son loves it. Other favorite is the garlic soups. We definitely would come back here. Bert and his family.
The greatest restaurant in Kleinwalsertall ever: big portions, fast and friendly service. And I cann't omit soup with garlic and shrimps????mmm
