The menu is repetitive and the service is inattentive. Almost all the entrees come with the same sides (i.e., grilled asparagus and roasted or mashed potatoes), which shows a lack of any imagination. In addition, the asparagus was not even prepped properly—the ends weren’t snapped off. I am all for a small and focused menu, but this smacks of laziness. While I enjoyed the banana pudding dessert (mainly because of the flambéed bananas), it was clearly Jell-O banana pudding. This place is way overpriced for the quality of food it serves.
My overall experience at the restaurant was decent, but I felt quite rushed and repeatedly interrupted in a rude manner by the same waitress. This made my date with my partner uncomfortable and brief. I wouldn’t recommend this place for couples seeking a romantic atmosphere. While the food was tasty, the service left much to be desired. Thank you, but I don’t plan to return anytime soon.
This was my first time going to Midgley’s in the Lincoln Center… we went for drinks and a light appetizer and both were amazing. Our waiter Preston was theeee best! The drinks were flowing, the atmosphere was relaxing.. and it was an overall good time. I am definitely going to go back again soon.
This place was phenomenal. Ordered a 14 oz ribeye it was like melted butter. The fried asparagus was amazing and the ahi tuna nachos was superb. (I don't do seafood) it was delicious. This is a BIG TIME RECOMMEND! Service was amazing as well!!we had a party of 11.

overall a good experience. food was very good. service was average...had to wait longer than I would have thought when the place was not crowded. no real big complaints, just hoped it would have been better. not our first time...other times were a better event.
Great food at a reasonable price point. Ordered the asparagus cigar appetizer, a ribeye, a tomahawk, and two beers. All the food was great and the service was solid. Good experience all the way around. With tip, dinner was roughly $250.
Very nice ambiance. Our waiter was really nice and engaging. Food was amazing. I had the lobster bisque for starters, prime rib as my main dish, and a cheesecake. I will definitely be back for dinner if I'm ever in the area.
