If you are looking for mediocre food with poor service, this is your place! We arrived in PEC looking forward to lunch at the Midtown Brewing Company, from the first few minutes after being seated, we had a feeling our server was not having a good day and did not enjoy her job. We arrived after 2pm on September 2nd for a late lunch, the restaurant was not busy, most diners including ourselves sat outside in the patio. We did not feel welcomed, the vibe was very much like we were intruding on her time. She took our drinks and food order and never returned after the drinks were dropped off. Disappointed, but not by the food or our server. The young lady who brought our food had a terrible attitude. After simply confirming if there were fries with one of the meals she said yes then turned to walk away saying I only have two hands ... . I didn 't ask how many hands you had, just if there were fries coming for my daughter 's meal. I was in no mood to argue with her, partly because my meal had not yet come to the table and because I was having a nice day and didn 't want her terrible attitude to ruin it. I would NOT recommend this place nor will I ever step foot there again.
Midtown brews excellent beer and serves up fantastic food. It's located in what appears to be an old service shop, across from the drake motor inn. On this trip I had the homemade burger. It was recommended by an owner of a local winery and it did not disappoint. Their pizza is also a must try if you're not feeling a burger.
Love this place. The atmosphere is casual, staff are friendly and the pizzas are delicious. Highly recommend their Caesar salad, it was too die for!
