Mien Tay - Table reservation

Racist waiter. I visited Mien Tay for a friends birthday dinner. Upon arrival I was the first one out of my friends there, I was greeted by w very rude older waiter. Who claimed my friend had not booked a table and told me to sit in the corner (just a single random chair) by the entrance and contact my friend. I was taken back but I contacted my friend who said she is sure she booked. Another waiter also noticed this man was very rude to me and apologised for his nasty attitude. mien tay is a great Vietnamese restaurant located directly at the Hoxton upper railway station. eating is great and not overpriced! I highly recommend the jumping rolls (both fresh and fried), the salt, pepper and garlic squid, as well as the rice-vermicelli noodles with stir-baked chicken, chili and lemon grass. they can also bring their own bottle alcohol, which is very practical! I recommend it definitiw.

We had our Christmas party at Mein. Pretty good value for money. The service was okay, but it can be improved by using a different service, particularly when serving the food it was quite slow, as the dishes arrived one at the time, and some were placed in wrong person at the table.

that's all! it should be shut off for its terrible hygiene standard! eating is microwave-processed, service rude, personal brainless, manager totally idiotic, dirt everywhere, even on the walls. I'm shocked.

Pretty good value dinner, nothing to rave about but the food was authentic and the service was fast.
