An absolute lovely experience! We started off with the Caesar salad which was made table side with fresh ingredients. Garlic bread to go with. Then we split the Mixed Grille including veal, lamb chops, and filet mignon. And topped off the evening with the dessert sampler where we chose the chocolate mousse, salted cashew caramel and chocolate tartlet, and chocolate creme glacee.Best Caesar we’ve ever had. Top 5 restaurants we’ve eaten at. The staff were entertaining and attentive. Would highly recommend to anyone who likes delicious food and cozy French environments.
Party if 4 and 3 of the 4 meals were not good. Veal oscar looked like cat food. If there was crab it was shredded so fine you could not see it or taste it. Sides were all cold. Duck was greasy and not good to eat. Another had tenderloin steak frittes and said it tasted like the meat had been re-heated. The dover sole was not de-boned table side and was thick and questionable. We had heard wonderful things about the restaurant, so to have this experience was very disappointing.
Been coming to Siesta Key my whole life and can’t believe I missed this gem! Early bird specials, French onion soup, table side salads AND desserts are ALL incredible! Family owned restaurant and I always feel like family when I go there! I’ve gone five times in the two years I’ve known about it and I tell everyone around how awesome this spot is!!
So classic dining done so well. Charming atmosphere. Fine dining and well chosen wine selection.
