Dropped in on 20th August for a cup of coffee, while there, read the menu. Decided to to go back for a late lunch of a Taste of Wales. It was very tasty. We had Welsh Rarebit with braised leeks, a good dish of hearty Cawl, toast, Welsh mature Cheddar, 2 slices of Bara Brith with butter. Tea or coffee rounded it off. The cost of all that was less than £13. We didn't eat for the rest of the day. It was excellent value, the staff were helpful, pleasant. Earmarked Mikey's for our next trip to the area.
We visited Mikey’s for breakfast this weekend and really enjoyed our visit. Our dog was allowed in too which was a bonus. The cafe is light and airy, pleasant staff and the food was tasty and a good price. Vegan options are available too which is another bonus! An all round good cafe and we will certainly return.
We found two large armchairs and settled for a relaxing afternoon snack. To accompany our pot of tea and latte we chose a biscoff traybake and scone with jam and cream. While the traybake excelled the scone with jam and cream dissapointed. Prices were moderate and the service friendly and efficient.
Definitely worth a visit. As a tourist, I tried the Lamb Cawl and it was exactly what I was hoping for - delicious. My wife chose the Tuna and egg salad and she loved it. The prices were great too. If I lived in Aberystwyth, I would definitely make this my go-to lunch spot.

This is the best breakfast I have had in a long time. Everything was freshly cooked with top-quality ingredients. The service was friendly and fast. There are many cafes in Aber, but this one stands out as one of the best. I highly recommend it.
Had a lovely lunch, sitting outside: had pancakes, beans on toast, panini/sandwiches. Extensive menu, reasonably priced flexible menu you can swap things around, though charges apply with vegan and gluten free options. Friendly staff.
Stopped here at the start of our holiday loved it so much, we came back at the end! Great breakfast, and lovely coffee. Clean cafe, staff great and nothing too much trouble. Will be back next year!
We always visit this restaurant when we're in Aberystwyth. I appreciate that they offer gluten-free options. The service is always friendly and we always leave satisfied and well-fed.
