Our server seemed to be new. He brought us our appetizer after apologizing for a long wait (the wait really didn’t seem that bad). Once he delivered our calamari he said he would be right back with the sauce, because he didn’t know which one it was served with. I appreciated the honesty. It wasn’t my first time here, and I’ve had more personable service with what I would call exceptional staff. This time around our server was just okay.
The food was excellent. I brought a group of friends who had never been to the restaurant before, and they were all very happy with their meals. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations for food and drinks. Overall, we had a fantastic dining experience and couldn't have been more pleased.
The only thing I have to say is that it was Friday night, and they sat us and no one came to us for a good 15 min before they realize we were there. It’s still one of my fav places to dine in but this does need to improve.
