"We had filet steak and wienerschnitzel, both were fresh and full of flavor. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, lots of candles and dim lighting. The waitress was friendly, spoke English well."

Visited this lovely little restaurant on a Friday night and were surprised to find it very quiet. Unprepossessing outside, the restaurant is great with an open courtyard, open roofed area and an interior. A lovely waiter translated the entire menu into English for us, describing...the dishes at the same time. We enjoyed very good black pudding and fish. A salad starter was disappointing and we couldn’t manage dessert unfortunately. Will definitely return to this place next time in Vienna to sample more Austrian fare.

Nice food. As it was my first night in Vienna, can’t speak comparatively but I enjoyed the meal. I arrived about and they were scrambling to close up courtyard (local ordinance) and I was disappointed as it was a very hot day and courtyard...much cooler than inside. That said (situation out of their control), it was pleasant. Great cream of zucchini soup and schnitzel. One waiter made concerted effort to chat with me in English.

Eight friends had been recommended this restaurant from home very few tourists many Austrians. We sat outside in the backyard which was very cool in style. We ordered mainly beef from the grill that tasted great. Lots of local good tasting wine were...served by a very friendly waitress. It was a great place to visit an oasis away from the tourist traps downtown.

Everyone likes to find a local gem hidden away. Mill might be one. Only locals here, no tourists. Guests seem like anarchists plotting the overthrow of the state. But food a bit average. They forgot to bring my first course. No credit cards, only cash....Very friendly staff but needs some work
