Me and my partner thought we’d give the place a try as we have drove past a couple of times and thought it looked nice. Upon entrance we were “greeted”, I use quotation marks as I found the woman to be patronising and extremely unhelpful, rather than assist us to a table she sat on one of the only two bar area tables working on a laptop. It was left to the bar man to assist us to a seat, which seemed as though this wasn’t usual procedure. The woman who I can only guess was a manager was sat on a table in the bar area besides us working and singing loudly which was really off putting and distracting when trying to enjoy some food and a drink. I brought my family came here a few days ago. What is there to say. Abysmal food including microwaved gammon and microwaved steak. A neat trick to throw it on the griddle for a few seconds to make it look like it’s actually been properly cooked. I have had decent food here in the past to be fair but I guess it’s just a lottery on which chefs are working on a certain day. Out of a party of four one of us had few complaints. Some of the serving staff are really friendly while others give the impression they would rather be anywhere else. (I knew how they felt) Reasonable prices but there are far better places to eat in the area.
Came here with a friend,got told to sit on any table. Table was very sticky even though it had been cleaned. Few flies around aswel. Food came out fairly quick but drinks took a while longer than I'd expect. Food really nice when it did come out. Serves was really nice and polite and nothing seemed to much trouble. Toilets need redoing as they aren't the best and don't seem to be checked often.
Stopped here for lunch while out shopping. We had a lovely meal and the staff were pleasant. The only thing that let it down were the toilets. An unpleasant smell throughout, no soap, and no toilet roll. Not only that, but we have a family member who is visually impaired, and there was no light coming out of the smelly toilets. Maybe something to look into?
