For all your Sally and Pepe customers! Minervini?s is seriously on top of the New Haven County when it comes to their pies! Everyone can complain about little things like a burnt crust and that?s what I get when I went to Sally?s! Nate doesn?t just make a great pizza but his Calzones are amazing. Plenty of parking with not a long wait makes the experience a lot easier then going to a place where the owners are long gone! Frank and the Consiglios made a good pizza YEARS ago but in this generation it?s Nate at Minervini?s where you can get real Italian pies! Thanks Nate

I was recently in New Haven, where I was born, for a family get together. My Aunt and cousin asked me where I wanted to eat, and there wasn't a moment of hesitation. Me and my wife were down from Boston, and she'd never had New Haven pizza, which is the best in the world. Minervini's was the only.place I wanted to go. It was just as delicious and amazing as it was when Nate made the pies for me and my Grandma and grandpa 20+ years ago. I would make the over 100 mile trip just for their pie. So damned good.

I found no flavor in what I order, bacon pizza, fried calamari and fried shrimp. Garlic bread with mozzarella was ok. On the good side the place was clean and my waitress was polite and attentive.

Another pretty good pizza place in East Haven. I've noticed a change in quality of the food for the better. Mashed potatoe pizza is great.

THE BEST CLAM PIE EVER!! I've been living out of state and come back here twice a year and get their pies. LOVE IT!!
