Ming Garden - Table reservation

Extremely upsetting experience. The first thing we were asked is if we want a takeaway. When I asked for a table for two the hostess snapped sit where you want' we were not shown to a table. The worst thing was being presented with the bill as soon as we'd ordered, and BEFORE our food or drinks even arrived. When I asked for ice, was just told ice machine isn't working. I was utterly insulted, and my birthday/anniversary thoroughly spoilt.

simply not a business with sense,arrogant staff who feel justified in treating customers like they shouldnt..a meal out should be comfortable,and slanderous quips made behind customers backs are embarrasing and rude.so if you are not a sensitive soul,go ahead and eat in this miserly minded place,oh and the food is over greasy if you like it that way.

I really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant, with its charming decorations and Chinese music playing in the background. It felt like being at home. The food was served promptly, but the quality could use some improvement. However, I would still come back for a taste of home. They also offer a dim sum menu with reasonable prices.

Nothing on the island comes close for Chinese food. Traditional decor. Friendly n efficient staff n not just your usual all Chinese crew. really good value for money too, we spent between pounds per head for fine dining. i'd definately recommend their curry, the best I've tasted in the UK! A must try.

I’m not from the island and I’ve been here twice, it’s just the best Chinese on here with the comfortable atmosphere and the best staff service as well, comfortable to place orders with their number system. Would definitely recommend this.
