Hesitated to leave my review here because this is the best sit down dim sum place in the Bay Area and I am afraid it gets too popular as more reviews come in. I’ve been to this place twice and it’s best to come before 11am on the weekends. Only waited for 15 mins for group of 3. Seems longer wait for large groups. The space is not big compared to other sit down dim sum places so no room for dim sum cart and everything is ordered through menu. There is a wait for the food but the service is amazing. I have searched high and low for Chinese takeout that truly satisfies me. Mings has the most delicious Wonton Soup I've had in a long time. While I do wish they would use a different green vegetable, like Chinese broccoli, instead of the lettuce-like greens they currently use, the dumplings and broth are still worth it. The Crispy Spring Rolls are fantastic, as are the Rice Noodle Rolls with Shrimp. I find myself ordering these items regularly.
Great food at a very good price. The fried tofu skin wrap with shirmp was a pleasant surprise. The tofu skin gives it more flavor then your standard egg roll wrap. The BBQ pork bums and just the right size and the ratio to bbq and dough is perfect. Meat was tender and full of flavor. Pork and shrimp dumplings packed with meat and delicious. Havent had time to taste other goodies I ordered. But I know I will not be disappointed!! Thank you Ming!
Love the dim sum here! Particular items that are good: siu mai, har gow, baked bbq pork bun, and the steamed crispy rice noodle roll! Weve ordered delivery and thats decent but also sat in restaurant and the service is very good. Super attentive, nice and polite! Highly recommend Mings Tasty for good dim sum.

This is a great place to order dim sum for takeout. I enjoyed the baked egg buns, spring rolls filled with shrimp and chives, and the flavorful sui mai filled with chunks of shrimp. I will definitely be ordering from here again, as the prices are reasonable and the food is worth it.
Amazing dim sum and service that was well worth the ~1hr wait on a Sunday. They were super accommodating and kind, especially when we had food allergies. Come enjoy the food early in the day then very quickly leave because its unfortunately a dangerous area
Best dim-sum in the east bay. Lovely dive in Oakland's Chinatown. I recommend the bbq pork buns. Cheap and absolutely delish. Will surely satisfy your craving for good, authentic, quality Chinese food.

I’ve never talked up a spring roll before but these are a must try. The shrimp and pork dumplings were great. Piping hot and amazing flavor. 10/10.
It's a decent place. The price is surprisingly reasonable considering the quality of food.
