The onion bhaji although quite tasty was...quite dense and floury and wasn’t crisp. The chicken and lamb on the bone should in our opinion if marinated properly should just fall off the bone, both were tough and quite a job to get it off the bone, all the meat tasted the same. We ordered on Kukd, no explanation as to what the dishes were, we had to google some of them to find out what they were. TAKEAWAY REVIEW To be told after three hours that they hadn’t even cooked my meal to then be told when I rang back half hour later that it was waiting on a delivery driver so they leave hot food go cold not great. Visited today. The curry was really tasty with plenty of chicken but it was brought in a metal dish direct from the oven and was bubbling to the point it was spitting sauce all over the table and on my clothes. Sneaky with the chutney...trays they don’t come with popadoms with the price you have to pay 85 pence each for them. Could imagine the profit margins on large tables catching people out with this. The mixed starter costs £6.50 which is a little over priced for a starter but it was really really decent, the marinade used was rich and full of flavour. Few small points there but it wasn’t a bad meal all around.
Lovely banquet meal tonight. Usually have take away from here but can never visit the restaurant due to something or other. Wasn't disappointed. Food was exactly how we get it as takeaway. Not a drop of oil in the sauces. Chicken and lamb was so...tender. Service was excellent. They couldn't be more attetive. The new girl Popy, despite being first day, was exceptional. She was lovely. We will be visiting the restaurant more regularly from now on

Disappointment. Ordered the meal for 2 which cost around £30 with an extra naan bread. Delivery took a little longer than we were told but it wasn't too bad. We were very disappointed with the taste in the curries. There seemed to be absolutely no seasoning... and I had to cover mine in salt to get any flavor out of it. The onion bajis and peshwari naan were nice though. But unfortunately the rest was bad.
My partner and I visited last Thursday. We travelled ffom Bridgend to sample this award winning restaurant and we were not disaoointed. We had superb starters and main meals. We could not faul the service and were impressed with the set up and cleanliness of...the restaurant. We will visit again soon
Ordered meal for 2 and additional curry. Disappointed with the quality of the food and quantity. Dupiaza was swimming in oil, tipped half of the container away. Not much meat in dishes, chicken tasted dry, asda do better curry than this, won't be going here...again....
This was our first visit here after being recommended by a friend. Very disappointed very oily food poor quality meat and overall it was hatch warm. The lettuce was also yellow around the edges. We will be returning to The Royal Indian in Dinas Powys...More

Incredible food. Naga wings were superb. So well presented. Lamb chops starter also beautifully presented. Lamb pasanda was best I have ever tried. Lamb cooked to perfection melted in my mouth. Everybody in the party very happy. Highly recommended
Had a meal with family this evening and what can I say meal was absolutely superb, Lily our waitress explained everything that was on the menu to make our choice easier and very professional.
