My wife and I visited on the recommendation of someone that lives locally ... There is a good range of cuisine on offer ... my wife chose the grilled fish which she enjoyed very much and I had the sirloin steak ... I have to say I often avoid ordering steak when I don't know the establishment but as it was our last night I thought I would give it a go. I asked for it to be cooked medium/rare ... the quality of the steak was in my opinion very good and it was cooked exactly as I had asked. The staff were attentive, polite and friendly. I recommend this resteraunt to a range of customers including family groups and couples. We will return when we next visit GC.

Ordered Sea bass and Sole. The Seabass was nicely grilled in salt and tasty. But the Sole was really without any taste and above all the one who ate the sole suffered that night and the day after from a severe food-poisoning. There was hardly any explanation for that but the sole. We knew it wasn’t fresh but frozen, nevertheless it needs to be ok. Rather disappointing. And a day holidays lost. Needs to be taken care for better. We didn’t want to argue about the tasteless sole but afterwards we regretted not doing that and regretted having eaten it.

My wife’s Hake in champagne sauce with Canarian potatoes was excellent. My liver with onions was reasonable but there was no gravy or jus. By the time I got to the end of the liver everything felt very dry. Admittedly it was a large portion but it still needed a sauce of some kind

Wanted to go somewhere else but that place was closed. However, we were greeted by a great host who, against all odds, convinced us. We had great food. The shrimps in garlic are a great starter. The meat is great and you pay for what you get. I would go here again.
