Mirch Masala - Table reservation

I cannot give a review of the food because it never arrived. After waiting for two hours, we called and were told that the delivery went to the wrong address. When my husband tried to call back, the adviser seemed stressed and said the driver went to the wrong place. After providing our address again, another half hour passed before we called again and were told the food was back at the restaurant. We decided to cancel the order since the food would likely be cold. The person on the phone sarcastically asked what we expected them to do if we didn't answer our phone, send smoke signals?

I purchased a kebab that had a fly fused into it. When I asked for a refund, the staff at the restaurant refused and instead offered me a replacement kebab from the same batch. I was too disgusted to eat anything from that pot after seeing the fly in my food. The staff tried to suggest that the fly could have come from somewhere else, even though I had just left the store and the fly was clearly cooked into the meat. I was extremely disappointed with the entire experience.

I personally love the food at this restaurant - it is delicious and very reasonably priced. The customer service is excellent, and I always have a good time chatting with the friendly staff member who takes my order. I highly recommend this place.

The food is great, and unlike many takeaways, it is prepared to order meaning a bit of a wait, 15 minutes or so, but well worth it. Atmosphere is not applicable because it's a takeaway, I didn't expect candles and mood music
