Blast from the past. I grew up a few miles from this Donut shop. But years ago it was a Winchell 's or Heavenly Donuts; I don't remember. But how fate is often friendly, this donut shop has survived in another way. On a recent trip back to my hometown I took a walk through the memory lane when I saw that Donuts were still the name of the game at this long-term location. Curiosity I liked better. So, I thought let you see how it survived. My absolute favorite donut from this place was a chocolate-long boy, with a whipped cream center. It was dying. I came here since I was a child in the early 2000s walking to the Golden Ave Elementary. The donuts are always fresh, always well stocked and I always had a great service from the staff. The donuts have become somewhat smaller over the years, but the taste has never changed. The interior will not be for everyone, it is old. What I can say, it hasn't changed since I was a child 20 years ago. Nothing wrong with that, in fact, I'm kind of like that because it brings back many good memories. If you've never been here, you won't be disappointed.
There’s something about having sweet doughnuts...it’s somewhat of a guilty treat so you might as well do it right. The options at this place suprises me, both normal and premium doughnuts; friendly service and awesome prices, super tasty unhealthy deliciousness!
Their glaze dounts are amazing and remind me of my childhood. The cinnamon rols are excellent as well. I personally like the cinnamon crumb one.
