Pho was so overwhelmed with star anise, I couldn’t finish it. Bun bo Hue was so inauthentic it smelled and tasted nothing remotely like the usually westernized version of the dish. Service was completely lackluster. I give it two stars only because there were no insects, no clearly visible dirty surfaces, not completely obnoxiously rude service, and I didn’t get food poisoning those things would warrant one star (given that we can’t do zero star reviews on here.)So disappointed because other reviews look so good.
Skip this one if you are coming for bun vermicelli. The vegetables make or break this dish, and here you will find a very uninspired arrangement of only carrot, cucumber, and shredded iceberg lettuce with no cilantro, no basil, no chives, or anything else to put the dish together. Additionally if you order the non-fish sauce version you will receive it dry which is a bummer. 2 stars because they got the noodles right I guess.
the lunch menu is the best! total the money worth, amazing mango roast rice and tofu. vegetarian options: the mango fried rice was delicious! the tofu was perfectly roasted.
eating is great for the price and the service is very fast! will go back
