this place is less row-shaped than the loop; a tad bit classier when they become. eating is the same over this chain so it is not better or worse here. it is just a more pleasant experience overall. vegans have some options here like a dedicated vegan taco with vegan groundbeef. they stopped with impossible meat and decided to stay locally in the besitz hungry planet beef (fka match meat.) even if I liked the impossible meat better, I can totally go behind the support of local small businesses (wives in possession, or at least they are earlier) it is a tacco, but they can change the toppings to make a vegan sort of taco flight. how to get vegan sides: the Zilantro rice and chopped salad are...
This restaurant location is quieter than the one in the loop and has a slightly more upscale feel. The food is consistent with the rest of the chain, so it's not necessarily better or worse here. Overall, it's a more enjoyable dining experience. There are a few vegan options available, including a dedicated vegan taco made with vegan ground beef from locally owned Hungry Planet Beef. While I preferred the Impossible Meat, I appreciate supporting small, local businesses. The cilantro rice and chopped salad are automatically vegan, and the refried black beans can be ordered without queso to make them vegan as well. The Chile Crusted fries are vegan, but you can't have the baja sauce. Guacamole...
I can't believe that this is the only Pi location left in St. Louis! The service was quick and friendly as always, the food was delicious, and it wasn't too crowded which created a peaceful dining atmosphere. In the past, we used to wait for hours at the other two locations, so it was a pleasant surprise to be able to walk right in. The spacious dining room and full-service bar were beautiful. The menu was just as great as ever, offering something for everyone. We ordered our usual favorites, the wings and the Delmar, which were prepared perfectly as always. I went to St Louis several years ago and thought Pi Pizzeria was amazing. Went last week and while I still found it very good, it definitely wasn't as good as the first time. The flavors were just a little bland, especially the sauce.
Honestly, this was one of those scenarios where our Server, Juan, was the Best part of our experience. The food wasn't bad, it was alright.. But DEFINITELY Not 5 Stars Good ALL 5 Stars were earned by The Waiter that took care of us
This restaurant was fantastic - the food was delicious, the waiter was very friendly, and they went above and beyond to make our experience perfect. Plus, they were playing Taylor Swift, which was a great bonus!
