Despite having a confirmed reservation through OpenTable, the restaurant did not have us on their booking list as they did not use the service. We ordered a starter to share and two main courses, but all the food arrived at the same time. When we inquired about the starter, we were told they were not going to serve it. The atmosphere was lively, but the venue was similar to a Wetherspoons. Overall, we were disappointed with the experience.
A nice meal. Staff were excellent as we and another three folk were the only diners. Beautiful place to eat and lovely views over the river. One fault I ordered the steak and ale pie the pastry was far too hard and it contained mushrooms which was not noted on the menu. I would have chosen something else.
Booking was easy. First impressions when entering restaurant bar was that it was more a bar than restaurant, very noisy but once through to restaurant it was ok. Service good and food very good and reasonably priced. Would go again. It was Friday night so may be much quiter at other times
We didn't have a booking, which wasn't a good start. To their credit, they tried to accommodate us with a table, but it was right by the open door to the smoking area, making it cold and reeking of cigarette smoke. We didn't even bother ordering food and decided to go somewhere else. Book a table now

Dropped in here last thing on a SaturdayIt was not busy, but there was still a healthy crowd.
