Mitsuwa is a beloved favorite for many, known for their fantastic snacks and the convenience of having Kinokuniya nearby. However, the produce section can be hit or miss. Despite regularly shopping there for two years, I've consistently encountered issues such as blackened napa cabbage, sprouting onions, and dried-out shiso. It's disappointing to find these problems after a long day. The quality of their fish and meat varies, but overall, they are better than some other stores. One minor inconvenience is the second register not accepting Apple Pay. Despite these challenges, I am thankful to have a Japanese grocery store close by. Improvement in the produce section would be greatly appreciate...
