The clientele here tends to be younger and a bit more lively than the previous patrons of Bezu, but the quality of the food makes this a worthwhile visit. As I mentioned earlier, I did go for lunch—well, technically brunch, since it was a Sunday. I was the only customer in the restaurant from the moment I sat down until I left. I was there solo with my iPad, hoping to catch up on the Sunday papers. Unfortunately, the atmosphere didn’t help; the background music, both in terms of volume and selection, was distracting rather than enhancing the experience. The playlist included many songs that used to be hits in large restaurants, making it feel a bit dated.

this was our first time in mix bar and grill and we will definitely go again. we celebrated a friend birthday, and the restaurant was very welcoming and open to us, with our own cupcakes pop up and a great job helped us surprise the birthday gala! service and management were really nice. the server has made a great job while reading the table. the prices were incredibly reasonable. it was a perfect place for after a long, hard week; we were able to spend time together and enjoy a good meal. I live in dc and it is better than many of the great places in the district.
For us out-of-towners this place has always been open when we needed it, especially Christmas nights. Prior meals of seafood gumbos were excellent and delicious. This time we ate lunch. The flatbreads are really pizzas, so if you 're expecting a true flatbread, discuss with the server. Both the mushroom and the pesto chicken flatbreads were a bit greasy. The field greens is very generous and the candied pecans are a great addition. Dressed a little heavy; next time I 'd ask for dressing on the side. Attentive service and lovely people.
Came to Mix to celebrate a friends birthday 6 of us. Service wasn't great and the restaurant was pretty empty (Wednesday night), so somewhat disappointing. Their Hummus is fantastic as is their tuna tartare app. Steak frites, Bronzino good as well. All in all, it was fine. Won't rush back.

The restaurant was understaffed during my visit. While the appetizers were enjoyable, the drinks were prepared inconsistently, and the entrees were both over-buttered and overcooked. Additionally, the service was extremely slow.
This is a lovely spot to gather with friends in Potomac. Keep in mind that the kitchen closes on certain nights, so it's a good idea to make a reservation or give them a call. Overall, it’s a lot of fun!
This restaurant is fantastic! The atmosphere is wonderful, the portion sizes are varied, and the bar deals really make it worthwhile!
Good food, good service, good bar. Small and intimate. TV's are slightly distracting, but sound was very low, so it was fine.
