Miyabi Uni - Table reservation

Miyabi Uni has these special Yoppari Night on every first and third Thursdays of the month. They have a unique menu and different Japanese brewery will sponsor the alcohol pairing. The menu and Japanese alcohol selection change monthly. We actually accidentally found this out by having lunch the day before this dinner. Thankfully, they manage to find us a table at the second seating at 8pm. For $80, this dinner was a bargain with really good sake and shochu cocktails (in this particular night) and all the foods are selected from the most expensive items in the menu including fresh Santa Barbara Uni, Uni pasta and mini Kaisen Don (Assorted raw fish on top of sushi rice). I've been hearing several friends talking about this hidden gem for quite some time now and thought I'd make the drive out here to see what the hype is all about. After looking over the menu, I wanted to try over 75% of the dishes. With high hopes that everything would be as good as it looked on the menu, I was not disappointed one bit with the assorted sashimi don, Uni wrapped with Kobe beef, and Uni onsen tamago. I will be back to try other dishes soon!!

Friendly staff, nice decor, and excellent food! There was def a lot of thought put into the menu. Uni onsen Tamago and Kobe beef with uni roll are a must try here!! We will definitely be back again soon!!!!

I'm definitely going to become a regular here! Great food to go along with a beautiful restaurant with kind and attentive staff. Can't get enough of the Kobe beef roll!

This place blew my mind. Had the Miyabi Kaisen, the same quality and taste as what I'd get in Japan. Great service and clean atmosphere.
