My real rating is a 3.5, but I rounded down to a 3 as there is room for improvement.Pros:1 Food - is delicious and fairly traditional - I particularly loved the Tamilto Verde and the lomo saltado. The Cassava fries were yummy, the rice was perfectly cooked and the beef was well seasoned. The chicharrones were ok (I would have liked more seasoning or a salsa over them), but the sweet potatoes under them were delish. All food is beautifully presented and could grace the cover of any food magazine, blog or Instagram. I enjoyed the coca leaves tea (even though it is in a tea bag), which I have always wanted to try. Delicious food. Gracias Chef Martin! A wonderful balance of flavours and seasonings. The ceviche clasico was a delight. The grilled veal heart so delicious and tender and the grouper cooked to perfection with a wonderful sauce. We made our reservations for our next visit before we left tonight and we're bringing friends. And the pisco sours? OMG! I can't wait for summer so I can sit on the patio and imbibe
I just dined at this restaurant and I truly appreciate the attention to detail in the food. The dishes were well-thought-out and the flavors blended perfectly. I enjoyed the vibrant and lively atmosphere. The servers were very knowledgeable about the menu, as I asked them about each dish and they had all the answers. Martin, brother, the food was delicious!
Yesterday Mochica went above and beyond expectations. Excellent food and great at welcoming clients. The owner, approached guests and provided us with complimentary pisco sours and canchitas as a thank you for attending the Peruvian Colombian match!

The jalea, ceviche, octopus, anticuchos, and lamb were excellent. The decor and service were also exceptional. I will definitely return for the drinks and other menu items.
