When our son started school at the nearby University of La Verne we made a plan to meet up with him once a week for dinner to catch up and spend an evening with him, we chose Mod Pizza on our first trip and it became 'our thing ' for the last two yearsnow. Overall the experience has been really good up until the last couple of visits. We get together each Weds and the hours ofthe Upland store show a closing time of 10:00, since we have to wait for our son to finish football practice we get to dinneraround 8:00 or so, and the last few times it is obvious that the staff is already focused on getting out on time, the diningroom has been closed off and mopped and they are just counting the minut...
This is the worst pizza and service. First time customer never to return. The scarce meat was only in the middle leaving nothing but burnt crust on outer half. When I questioned the staff, they said as the when they crust rises the few meat particles shiftto the middle leaving nothing for 3/4 of the pizza. There was a staff of four joking with each other while the table were dirtyfrom use. I had to search for a clean table. The staff could care less about the quality of the pizza and store cleanliness. Beforewarned, you will be wasting your money as I purchasing pizza at this place. The location is at Sycamore Hill Plaza building100.
The guy with the blue hair and the face piercings doesn’t know how to make pizza and has no business making pizzas. He doesn’t even know how to follow simple directions and is sloppy with his ingredients and every time he ladles the sauce there are bare spots. He has a bad attitude and is rude to customers and doesn’t care the customer has to pay for this food he carelessly throws together

Just ordered 3 pizzas from here on Uber eats and not one pizza was made correctly. 2 pizzas smothered on gross hot ranch when sauce was ordered on the side both of those people can't even eat it due to an allergy) it was for the 3rd pizza which wasmissing toppings. Really disappointed, normally really enjoy Mod. :
Good service, nice space, tasty ingredients. I love making my own pizza whenever I come. The taste is pretty rich with all the ingredients they have. Good drink options too, including beer, lemonade, iced tea and sodas
I absolutely love this restaurant! The pizza is customized to your liking, and the staff is fantastic! I will definitely return!
The pizza is always bomb. The guys there were super cool. Very clean establishment.
