I ordered through Uber eats in the afternoon and they weren’t the best. Perhaps it’s better to just get them before 2pm. I ordered mostly cake donuts and a cruller. The cruller was still soft but a lot of the cake donuts were kind of stale. Some of them tasted like they were fried in old oil. The flavor was also lacking overall with nothing tasting distinct…it was all fried sweet dough. The only exception to this was the rainbow donut that really did taste like a rainbow cookie with the strong almond notes but it was just too dry!
This is my go-to spot for donuts. My favorite is the boston crème, followed by the pistachio. The place is quite popular, so make sure to hit them up in the morning and you’ll have more donuts to choose from.
Clean establishment. A lunch counter renovated with old school charm. Coffee was good. The Boston cream was DELICIOUS. Fresh and flavorable and not TOO sweet. I sensed a dark chocolate icing. Perfect.
Delicious donuts and good service. Feels like a classic donut shop would definitely recommend
