I’ve been to Moffats a few times recently and haven’t been disappointed yet.First time, I went for their Moroccan Burger. The menu description was homemade Moroccan spiced lamb pattie, spanish onion, tomato, cucumber, lettuce and minted tzatziki. Not too clued up on that last item but everything came on a lightly toasted roll and there was a small amount of steakhouse chips. Very tasty, a tad spicy, good size, pretty good chips. The burger could probably be cut in half to share for a light lunch with maybe an added serving of chips if you are not famished or want to leave room for an icecream somewhere. Stopped in at this take away for a bit of lunch. The worst thing about this place was the girl serving at the counter. OWNERS NOTE. The is nothing worse than a worker at the front register who is Unhelpful, didn't know her menu and clearly didn't want to be there.(teach your workers to provide customer service) The food was average, the rolls were toasted far too much which makes the bread hard and the inside was soggy, nothing mind blowing that's for sure. The calamari was overcooked and rubbery. I don't usually write bad reviews but this place left our entire party dissatisfied
My family and I had Moffats Beachside Takeaway's special today - Whiting, Calamari, coleslaw and chips. What a delicious meal especially as the whiting is locally caught, and both the calamari and whiting were cooked beautifully. We also enjoyed the coleslaw and chips. An adequate serve for two! Very friendly staff. Well done to all involved. We will definitely be going back.
I had a vege burger and my wife had greek salad and chips.Burger was great, so were the chips and so was the salad. The packaging lets this place down a bit - i know its takeaway but we ate at their counter and we still got all the plastuc cutlery and plastic salad container. Some china and steel would be nice.

We had the calamari and the fish and chips which were good and above average value. We did this a few times while we were at Moffat's. Service was a little slow but the food was good. Not too sure if the $6 milkshakes were worth it. A bit of flavouring and milk. I would just go back for the Calamari.
.... the burgers need improving. What kills a burger is too much bread meaning everything else in the burger gets lost. Change the bun that fits the size of the beef patty and you might have a good burger. The fish and chips....so good. That's why we keep coming back.
Calamari that melted in your mouth and delish fish. On a recent girls weekend away we visited here on a friday night. The fish and chips were very yummy but the calamari was devine. I would definatley visit again.
We go here most weekends for fish and chips, it really is great food - sometimes a little slow, but we are happy to wait! Good selection and prices are reasonable, also plenty of salads and juices available.

Delicious burgers, fish and the chips are out of this world. Perfect for taking down to eat on the grass with a blanket and that stunning view.
Very good value burger and chips combo in what is obviously a very nice spot. Have been multiple times and will continue to return
