Ive been here twice and the first time was delightful, we had the seafood stew and service was good very impressed so we came back for a second time and had a completely different experience. There were only 6 tables in the restaurant and the wait staff were running around frantically. After 10 minutes i had to ask the waitress for a wine bucket and glasses for our wine as we were just sat down and ignored. We had another seafood share dish, and this time it was not good, it was thick like jelly, there were actually chucks of jelly in it. When we asked the waitress she said its supposed to be like that? she said they thickened the stock with gelatin, which did not work as it adds no extra fl...
My work colleague and I ended up here after a trip down Spence Street to find a lunch venue.Neither of us are particularly familiar with Korean food, but the menu looked appealing. We both chose one of the dishes which I guess must be the Korean equivalent of Japanese "don" meals: meat on rice. I ended up choosing the chicken and mayo dish, and it arrived on rice, with salad and a glass noodle mix on top too. My colleague had the BBQ pork. AND IT WAS FABULOUS!!!!and what made it better? The price. Just $12!!!!!And as for the decor? I loved it. Do yourself a favour and give it a go. Well worth it. We'll definitely be back soon!
The restaurant is spacious and insulated well enough that you don't hear the racket from over the road at The Jack. A lovely cool, relaxed place for dinner. I had the bibimbap, served in a stone pot it was piping hot all the way through the meal and developed that tasty crispy rice layer at the bottom. Hubby had the spicy tofu stew (more of a mild, sweet spicy). The servings are generous. There is plenty of variety on the menu. We will definitely be back to try the hot pots and other menu items.
케언즈에서 즐길 수 있는 한국 레스토랑을 찾는다면 이 곳 추천 !!최근 이 곳에 치킨 먹으러 매주 가고 있는데, 후라이드 치킨, 간장 치킨, 양념치킨 모두 다 맛있어요. 간장 치킨은 간장 향이 좀 더 강했으면 하지만.. 그래도 충분히 맛있어요 ! 목요일에 치킨 가격 할인하는 날이라 목요일에 방문하면 저렴한 가격에 맛있는 치킨 맛볼 수 있어요. 오뎅탕은 조미료가 많이 가미되지 않아 깔끔한 맛이 나는데 이것도 너무 맛있어요. 그리고 무엇보다 모임을 빛나게 해주는건 직원언니의 감동스런 서비스예요. 갈 때마다 직원언니가 보여주는 서비스 마인드와 자부심에 감동받고 올 정도예요. 당신은 모임의 수퍼스타 !!!!

Food was OK and enough for lunch, for the price it would be one of the cheapest around with average quality.I had char grilled pork with rice and noodles, quite tasty however the pork did not taste like it was char grilled more like pan fried, I would definitely go back for lunch again.
I have tried the food at this restaurant a few times because it is close to work. The food was very bad each time, the latest chicken fillet takeaway was not a real fillet but reconstituted meat. I have also tried teriyaki chicken and glass noodles, both of which were near inedible.
I've been here 2-3times for fried chicken It is exactly like korean style fried chicken- crispy and has proper tastes!Bi-Bim-Bop taste was not that great thoughHere is best chicken place I reckon!Vegetarian pancake was also nice I would try some other dishes when I visit again :)

Cairns has a few Korean restaurants. This is the third one I have tried. The food was plentiful but too tasty. MSG? Hmm.
