Walked in at 9pm one night without a reservation. The restaurant is very dark and dimly lit. Atmosphere is thick glass walls and horigotatsu or sunken floors, which were nice. Take your shoes off before entering. We ordered about 10 dishes. Four came out and then the other six came out a few minutes later. I wish they would consider giving us two dishes at a time every five minutes, rather than bringing everything all at once. The path to the toilet is dark, but barrier free. I don’t like the concept of while I sitting on the floor and the waiter stands and serve the food. Tbh my neck hurts. As for the food, it is average. Beef tongue, chicken hearts are over-grilled and over salted. Btw, service is slow and make sure you ask for water or they will likely forget.
It was a cool experience and setting, which worths trying. Server was quite attentive until food came. I don’t remember they checked on us until we were ready for the bill. For the price, I would expect higher standard on the tastes and textures of the food.
The quality here has really dropped. The service is poor, and the manager was unprofessional and arrogant. My fiancé and I were left stunned. I’d avoid this place if you want a good experience.
