Amazing atmosphere, creative dishes and food drinks. Especially the corn dumplings were to die for. The oxtail spring rolls are also a must have. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because we had to wait close to 30 minutes for our last dish, which was the cauliflower. They kept telling us it was “a couple of minutes away” and since we were strapped for time to reach another appointment, we asked if we could just skip that dish if it was going to take so long. The waiter didn’t seem to appreciate that, and kept reiterating that it was a few minutes away. The cauliflower was good but not worth a 30 minute wait. The staff were nice and comped us a round of sake, but it was still annoyin...

Mokyo, tucked away in NYC, wowed us with tasty food, great service, and a nice drink menu. The Corn Dumplings and Oxtail Spring Rolls were standouts, and the plantain dish was a refreshing surprise. Huge shoutout to the team for their hard work NYC needs more spots like this. And we all need to be nice and generous patrons to keep them the pulse of our city. Without places like Mokyo, NYC would be a desert. Highly recommended for anyone craving a taste of foodie heaven in the city.

Food was very good (especially memorable were the corn dumplings, noodles, and gumbo). I am surprised to see people describe this as a Korean restaurant; on the surface it seems to be more about Southern food (gumbo, tostada, salsa verde, plantains) with occasionally some soy sauce and gochujong in the background. I thought there might be banchan but the server didn't know what that was. So I'd recommend you come without expectations and enjoy.

Gadamn this place is good. In order of enjoyment: 1. Corn Dumplings 2. Lobster Roll Noodles 4. Plantains 5. Scallops 6. Tomatoes They were all beautifully constructed, and tasty but man those corn dumplings were something else, and man those tomatoes are not really worth the money. I don't see how this is a Korean restaurant but Book a table now

Great variety of food to share with your table, would recommend to go in a group to be able to try more dishes. The dishes came too slow, maybe every 10 minutes, and everyone on the table only got a couple of bites per dish

This restaurant is a crowdpleaser and a great value. I dined with a large group that ordered one of everything. My favorite was the lobster roll others had their own favorites.

One of my favorite places in the City. I’ve introduced Mokyo to several friends, and now they bring others here. That tells you everything about this restaurant!

I highly recommend this place! The corn dumplings might have been one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. My husband and I ordered it twice. Book a table now

Really good food, but what made me write this review is our server, Ed. The attention to detail, professionalism, very impressed.
