"Visiting family from Golden Colorado was extremely surprised and disappointed with the $10 tour with Groupon). They dressed in industrial clothing in hot weather and received three samples of 2 oz beers. You all need to tour the Coors brewery in Golden! It's free!"

Local flavor? I was hoping to give this spot a local smell category, but that isn 't an option. The thick yeasty stench of this Burrard Street landmark plagues bridge-walkers and nearby folks with its blob-like status: when it 's around you run in the other direction. There are no tours (that I can uncover) of this rather large brewery. Too bad, because the large steel fermenting tanks and steam-piping chimneys look pretty neat. Molson graces south-driving Burrard Street drivers with a narrow selection of upcoming events on its ticker banner. Plus there 's a temperature/time clock that tells Vancouverites just how lucky we are with our warm days. Just try not to get downwind of this place.

I nice welcome to Kitsilano. Everytime you drive over the Burrard street bridge, you can often smell the beer making when it is in operation. The brewery is a great landmark the tower that displays the time and temperature. Maybe this is partly why they are one of the largest brewers in Canada. Free advertising near a major transit route. Before 2001, they use to receive their deliveries by train on the arbutus rail corridor. The train tracks lead right into the brewery near West 1st avenue. It is shame they won't be around much longer as they have been sold to rabid developers. Molson now owns the Granville Island Brewery.

Came here last year for a company event. It was interesting and educational to learn how they make beer. The tour was quite short and I would say like 15 mins. They were suppose to give each of us headphones. Some didn't work so well. Well they had enough for everyone. As well we were given construction hats and vest to wear. We were split up into two groups and later we were bought into a room that looked like a bar and we were given unlimited molson beer. Well there are only three kinds to choose from. It was interesting and fun. My firm bought pizza to go with the beer for everyone. This is definitely a one time things.

If you ever get invited to a private function here, go for it!! They have the John Molson Academy which is their private pub that only employees can use, and invite people to. Free beer all night long. You just have to bring your own food, or have it catered. It's an awesome place!
