With heavy rains and floods everywhere, me and the boys needed a nice night out. The star was great, very accommodating, lots of tables. I wish they had more war games tables, there was literally only one. We went on a Saturday night. Parking was hectic, staff were quick, smooth and easy. Security was nice and tight. All the machines were working fine. The water feature is a nice touch, the music was perfect, the atmosphere is great. The elevators were busy and constantly very slow for some reason. The food options are too few, I'd expect at least 5-6 restaurants inside a casino of this size. (Considering how bad the one in there was). The bar service was extremely slow. We already had a sea...
For my wife, it was extremely and extraordinarily excellent!! From upon our arrival and being met by Karlie, our overnight stay was made even better by the rooms that we were upgraded to. Whilst, I had to attend an event in Sydney that night, my wife was able to take in pretty much ALL that The Star had to offer!! Very friendly, knowledgeable and approachable staff from 'check-in ' and again at 'check-out '. We certainly hope to visit Sydney again soon and when we do, then The Star will be our preferred place to stay. Thanks so much to The Star.
A great getaway hotel for a Sydney staycation away from the kids. So many restaurants and amenities which makes for such an easy getaway, nothing to think about or worry about. Rooms are well priced for what you get, as is the food. Something you get for being attached to a casino. Staff was helpful. Pool was full of kids but it was the school holidays so I suspect that was the reason why. Would be happy to stay again anytime, in fact I know I will...
It has lots to offer. Meals, poker machines roulette, blackjack amongst many others. Severe restaurants and accommodation at a competitive price, car draws, win a free meal and accommodation just for being a loyal member. Air conditioned, lights relaxing on your eyes. A perfect place to visit for the weekend. Staff are respectful and of your needs.
