Mon Taste of Japan

Decided on a quick date night on a Monday night thinking that it would be difficult to find a good reasonably priced venue in Leederville that was open! I can now say that I was welcomed by very polite staff who explained the menu to...us in detail. The food was prepared fresh and delivered to our table within 10 minutes of ordering. Highly recommended and will be going back to Mon Taste of Japan again very soon. Enjoy and best to book in advance on a busy day to avoid disappointment as the restaurant is small internally with a nice street front paving area that is also popular.

Tried this restaurant (probably more of an eating house) at the last moment and we were not disappointed. As a Japanese food lover the food was very good. Fresh and delicious with the usual favourites such as sashimi, sashumi, tempura dishes, guoza, various chicken dishes...etc. All dishes reasonably priced. Service was excellent and attentive. Would return without hesitation.

The place is quite small but they won't let you down with the taste. It's fresh and tasty, and so authentic Japanese. The food were prepared by Japanese chef and cook, even the server is Japanese! The sashimi and bento box are must try. Price...is reasonable, will definitely come back and recommend if you're looking for Japanese in Lederville!

This family owned authentic Japanese restaurant was a delightful find! Amazing quality freshness. Our top picks would be the pork gyoza, karaage chicken and buta kakuni. All sushi rolls are made fresh on order! Value for money too.. try them out!
