Our first experience was a good one after the museum hours on Friday evening. High quality menu, professional service and live music made for a nice date. Now Muse only needs patrons! We almost had the space to ourselves. If it gets known, this could be a great downtown restaurant.
The food was creative and delicious. We were there on a Sunday and it was pretty empty, but the waitress was not very attentive and we had to wait 10 minutes or more to get the menu. The food came quickly and as I said it was excellent. Maybe our waitress just had a day off.
The restaurant was quiet and warm and cozy and festive with Christmas decorations. We came there to have dinner and see the fireworks, and finally we watched fireworks directly from the window, where we ate, which was perfect. The cream brulé was out of this world ????
We enjoyed a visit to the museum and decided to dine there in the muse. The food was excellent and the atmosphere at lunchtime on a Saturday was great for getting school-age children to do so. Very comfortable chairs too! Book a table now
I got the goat cheese noodles that had goat cheese in the sauce and a whole ball of goat cheese on top. This is far too much goat cheese! Plus the taste was bland. Not worth the money I spent on it
There's only one vegetarian option, and it's a cold, slack hummus sandwich. They didn't even toast the bread. Very disappointing. However, my starter of flatbread with apricot jam was very tasty.
1 WEEK AGO: Passing through this part of Long Island on our way to a funeral, staying in a "meh" hotel room, and in dire need of a hot meal after a long day
I stopped by here in evening and had a wonderful (and huge!) order of eggplant Parmesan and side salad. The service was quick and pleasant, too. Book a table now
